We understand that undergoing your first MRI scan can be an unfamiliar and potentially unsettling experience.
As we get older, our bones naturally get thinner (less dense) and weaker. In osteoporosis, this bone loss happens faster and is severe enough to make bones fragile and more likely to fracture (break), even from a minor bump or fall.

What are Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs) They develop from cells of the neuroendocrine system. These are found in organs such as the stomach, bowel and lungs. NETs are more common in people aged over 60. They are sometimes called carcinoid tumours.
